Irvine Valley College, established in 1985 in Irvine, is one of two colleges in the South Orange County Community College District, the other is Saddleback College in Mission Viejo.

The college offers a full complement of programs, from the more traditional liberal arts and sciences to advanced technologies.

The success of the college’s many programs has been reflected in its continued enrollment growth. At present, more than 15,000 students participate in the college’s day, evening and online programs. All instructional programs at the college are housed within 10 academic schools.
