Reporting the Latest on California Guided Pathways

 

Getting Student Voices into Guided Pathways

Don’t overlook student voices. That’s the message of a new report, based on student focus groups that detailed their community college experiences and their thoughts on Guided Pathways. A cross section of students from two CA community colleges was queried about the process they encountered in selecting majors and choosing courses, what resources had been helpful and what services they felt were lacking.

 

Working Together as a Team: The Central Valley Higher Education Consortium Approach to Guided Pathways

The Central Valley Higher Education Consortium, which comprises 14 colleges in four districts spread across nine counties, is embarking upon a unified effort to ensure Guided Pathways succeeds in eliminating equity gaps, while substantially boosting the number of students who earn a certificate or a degree.

 

Spring 2018 Guided Pathways Workshops

The California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office is coordinating a series of upcoming workshops to provide resources and support for its colleges as they work toward implementing Guided Pathways. The content for these workshops was developed in response to feedback collected during the Fall 2017 Guided Pathways workshops–you spoke, we listened!
